Dear Friends,

As I’m sure you all know by now, Governor Pritzker has announced a Stay at Home directive for all of us in Illinois. I can only imagine how hard this decision was for him and, as a nurse, appreciate his willingness to make this difficult decision in his efforts to keep us safe.  We support his decision.

As part of this Stay at Home directive all non-essential businesses have been asked to close by 5pm Saturday March 21st.  That includes our Shop. The end date of this directive is tentatively April 7th but that is not set in stone. It all depends on how quickly we can impact the spread of Covid-19. We will definitely keep you updated!

If you need any last minute supplies or fabrics, need to pick up a special order or have a machine repair that is ready for pick up please do so tomorrow. Our shop is open from 10-330pm. Unfortunately, after that time  and until Stay at Home is lifted our shop will remain closed to all in store shopping, machine repair drop offs/pick- ups, classes and events. We are still working out the details of First Saturday and will update you as we get closer to April 4th.

While the storefront is closed, please feel free to shop our Etsy store! There are lots of great kits, fabric bundles and other items to keep you inspired . We have even added yard cuts of great background fabrics to help you as you work from your stash.  I will continue to ship out orders as they come in and am adding new items as quickly as I can. If there is something you would like to see on Etsy please send me an email.

These are hard times for all of us and we appreciate your continued support of our shop. Most important, stay safe and stay healthy. This will pass and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.
