The start of a new year is always a good time to take some time to learn something new. Why not give quilting a try. The Start Quilting class at Stitching on State is the perfect place to learn quilting skills and meet new friends. Over the course of five weeks, you will learn everything from basic rotary cutting, strip piecing, simple machine quilting, to putting a binding on your first quilt. Learn how to make a simple rail fence wall hanging and a nine-patch checkerboard. Then learn how to make half square triangles and flying geese, that are joined together to create a beautiful table runner. This is also a great refresher class for anyone who would like to fine tune their quilting skills. Come join the wonderful world of quilting.
